A question asked by a curious mother watching her daughter read from memory, not understanding. That single moment in 2012 planted the seed of curiosity to discover how children truly learn to read. Years later, that seed blossomed into The Little Explorers.

A learning space built on a mother's question
Founded in July 2021 by Ms. Ria Jason under Zing Edu-Tech, The Little Explorers began with one mission: to Spark the Love for Reading and Writing. We ensure every child truly reads, not recites. A Jolly Phonics certified educational initiative serving families in Kochi and worldwide online.

Three programmes. One clear path.
Our Level 1 program builds a strong foundation in reading and writing through the internationally recognised Jolly Phonics approach. Children learn in a fun, interactive, and step-by-step manner.
What children will learn
- The 42 letter sounds
- Correct letter formation
- Blending sounds to read words
- Segmenting words for spelling
- Tricky words
- Basic sentence rules
- Story reading and comprehension
Learning Outcomes
By the end of Level 1, children develop strong phonological awareness, improved listening skills, early reading fluency, correct writing habits, and greater confidence in communication.
Level 2 builds on the strong foundation developed in Level 1 by introducing advanced phonics concepts, spelling patterns, and grammar rules. Children learn to read with greater fluency and spell accurately.

- Alternative spellings for long vowels
- Bossy R (R-controlled vowels)

Learning Outcomes
By the end of Level 2, children become more fluent readers, confident spellers, and independent writers. They develop stronger comprehension skills and gain the confidence to write meaningful sentences and short creative pieces.
Our Jolly Literacy program is designed for children from Grades 1 to 4, helping them build a strong understanding of English grammar through hands-on activities, games, movement, storytelling, and creative writing.

Learning Outcomes
Children develop confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and grammar. They learn to apply grammar concepts correctly in everyday communication while strengthening vocabulary, sentence construction, comprehension, and creative writing skills.

Experience the same interactive, engaging learning as our in-person classes, delivered live by Ms. Ria Jason via Google Meet. Online sessions are available for Level 1 and Level 2.
